LucidDaily Review: Daily Payouts, Intraday Drawdown and Who It Suits

LucidDaily is Lucid Trading’s fourth plan, added in July 2026 alongside Pro, Flex and Direct rather than replacing any of them. Two things make it different: you configure the risk model yourself at checkout, and once funded you can request a payout every eligible day. The trade-off is real, and it’s in the drawdown.

Quick Verdict

LucidDaily is the right account if getting paid frequently matters more to you than having a forgiving risk model, and if you’re a disciplined intraday trader who closes flat.

It is the wrong account if you hold through volatility, trade the news, or have a history of getting stopped out by a trailing drawdown that moves against you mid-session. Funded LucidDaily accounts always run an intraday drawdown — even if you picked end-of-day for the evaluation. That single rule decides whether this plan fits you.

If you want end-of-day drawdown on the funded side, LucidFlex and LucidPro are the accounts to look at instead.

The Four Configurations

You pick two settings at checkout, which produces four versions of the same plan at four different prices. Once the account is active, these cannot be changed.
Setting 1 — Evaluation Drawdown
Choose End-of-Day or Intraday. EOD calculates your Max Loss Limit from your closing balance, so unrealized swings during the session don’t touch it. Intraday tracks continuously and costs less.

This setting applies to the evaluation only.

Setting 2 — Daily Loss Limit
Choose DLL On or Off. With it on, you get a lower purchase price and a daily loss cap. Hitting the cap is a soft breach — you’re locked out until the next session rather than losing the account.

DLL applies to both evaluation and funded accounts.

Cheaper: DLL On, Intraday eval. More room: DLL Off, EOD eval. Price rises with flexibility.

⚠️ The Catch: Funded Is Always Intraday

This is the part traders miss, and it’s confirmed directly in Lucid’s documentation: the drawdown type you select applies to the evaluation only. Every LucidDaily funded account uses an intraday trailing drawdown regardless of what you chose.

If you pass an EOD evaluation and then get funded, your risk model changes underneath you. A position that’s green at the close but dipped $800 during the session was harmless in the eval and is a live threat once funded.

That matters because an intraday trailing drawdown is the single most common way funded accounts get busted. It follows your highest equity, including unrealized peaks, so a trade that runs in your favor and comes back can move your floor up and take you out on the retrace. If that pattern has ended accounts for you before, this plan is structurally working against you no matter how good the payout terms are.

Payouts: What You Actually Get

Rule LucidDaily
Payout frequency Every eligible day
Buffer before withdrawal Initial max loss limit + $100
Minimum payout $500
Per-request cap None
Funded consistency rule None
Evaluation consistency 50%
Funded drawdown Intraday trailing
Red-folder news Hard breach when funded
Rules change often at Lucid. Confirm anything above against Lucid Trading’s live terms before you buy.

The Daily Profit Ceiling

LucidDaily has no per-request payout cap, which sounds uncapped but isn’t quite. Each account carries a Maximum Daily Profit figure, and reaching it doesn’t just cap that day — it triggers your move out of sim and into a live account.

At that point your buffer funds your starting live drawdown and cannot be withdrawn, and sim profit above the buffer pays out subject to a cap.

Plan your final sim days around that. Letting profit stack well past the buffer right before you trigger the move means leaving money in an account you’re about to exit — the same timing trap that exists on LucidFlex graduation.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

LucidDaily is Lucid Trading’s fourth plan, launched in July 2026. It’s a one-phase evaluation whose funded account allows daily payout requests, and you configure the risk model yourself at checkout. It sits alongside LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect rather than replacing any of them.
For the evaluation, yes. For the funded account, no. Every LucidDaily funded account uses an intraday trailing drawdown regardless of what you selected at checkout. If you want EOD drawdown once funded, look at LucidFlex or LucidPro instead.
The DLL is a soft breach. You’re locked out until the next trading session rather than losing the account. This applies on both evaluation and funded accounts when you’ve selected DLL On.
No. Once a LucidDaily account is active, the drawdown type and DLL setting are locked. Choose carefully at checkout, because you’re committing to that risk model for the life of the account.
No. LucidDaily runs on a separate, higher discount tier. The code is SPICY either way — see the LucidFlex promo page for that tier’s figure.
Not in a funded account. Red-folder news trading is a hard breach — you must be flat around the event or lose the account. This is stricter than the rest of the Lucid lineup, where news trading is allowed with no blackout windows, so news traders should avoid LucidDaily.
There’s no per-request cap. Each account does carry a Maximum Daily Profit figure, and reaching it moves you out of sim into a live account, where your buffer funds the live drawdown and sim profit above it pays out subject to a cap.
