I took 13 LucidFlex payouts before graduating to LucidLive.
LucidPro is the most straightforward way into a Lucid funded account. The evaluation has no consistency rule and no minimum trading days, so a good day can pass it outright. What Lucid asks for in return comes later, on the funded side, in the form of a 40% consistency check on every payout cycle.
Quick Verdict
LucidPro suits traders who take steady, repeatable profits across several sessions rather than one big swing. The evaluation barely gets in your way, the funded drawdown is end-of-day so intraday noise can’t stop you out, and the split is 90/10 from the first dollar.

Where it bites is the 40% consistency rule on funded payouts. One outsized day doesn’t lose you the account, but it can hold up your withdrawal until the rest of your profit catches up. If your edge produces occasional large days and a lot of flat ones, you’ll spend time waiting on payouts you’ve technically already earned.

Traders who want no funded consistency rule at all should look at LucidFlex, which moves the difficulty to the evaluation instead. Traders who want to be paid every day should look at LucidDaily, accepting an intraday funded drawdown in exchange.

The Evaluation: Genuinely Easy
No Consistency Rule
Lucid does not publish a consistency percentage for the LucidPro evaluation. You are not forced to spread profit evenly to pass.
One-Day Pass Possible
There is no minimum trading day count. Hit the profit target inside your drawdown and you can clear the evaluation in a single session.
No Activation Fee
Lucid’s help center states plainly that there is no activation fee to upgrade a LucidPro evaluation to a LucidPro funded account.
There is also no time limit on the evaluation. You can take as long as you need.
⚠️ The Catch: 40% Funded Consistency
LucidPro inverts the usual structure. Most firms make the evaluation the hard part and then leave you alone once funded. Lucid does the opposite here: easy eval, ongoing check.

On a funded LucidPro account your largest single profit day cannot exceed 40% of your total profit for that payout cycle. Lucid’s formula across all plans is the same:

Largest Single Day Profit ÷ Account Profit = Consistency Percentage

So if you want to withdraw against $5,000 of cycle profit, no single day in that cycle can have contributed more than $2,000 of it. Go over and the request isn’t denied forever — you simply keep trading until the rest of your profit catches up and pulls the ratio back under 40%.

The rule resets after every approved payout, so each cycle starts clean. Accounts bought or reset before November 28, 2025 sit at 35% instead.

What this actually costs you is time, not money. A trader whose edge comes from a few big sessions will keep hitting the ceiling. A trader who grinds smaller wins across many days will rarely notice it exists.

The Legacy 100% Split — Check Your Purchase Date
You’ll still see the “100% on your first $10,000” claim circulating in older LucidPro write-ups. It’s a legacy benefit, not a current one.

Per Lucid’s own payout documentation, only accounts purchased or reset before 11/28/2025 at 3:00 PM EST remain eligible for it. Anything bought after that date runs the standard 90/10 split from the first dollar.

If you hold an older LucidPro account, this is worth knowing before you reset it — a reset after that cutoff moves you onto current terms and the legacy benefit does not come back.

LucidPro vs LucidFlex vs LucidDaily
The three evaluation plans put the difficulty in different places. Pick the one whose hard part you can actually live with.

Funded drawdown End of day End of day Intraday

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. There is no minimum trading day count and no time limit on the LucidPro evaluation. If you hit the profit target without breaching your drawdown, you can clear it in a single session.
On a funded LucidPro account, your largest single profit day cannot exceed 40% of your total profit for that payout cycle. Lucid calculates it as largest single day profit divided by account profit. The rule resets after each approved payout. Accounts purchased or reset before November 28, 2025 use 35% instead.
Nothing happens to the account — it only affects payout eligibility. You keep trading, and as your cycle profit grows, your largest day becomes a smaller share of the total until the ratio falls back under 40%. It delays a withdrawal rather than costing you anything.
Only on legacy accounts. That benefit applies to accounts purchased or reset before 11/28/2025 at 3:00 PM EST. Accounts bought after that date run the standard 90/10 split from the first dollar. Note that resetting an older account moves it onto current terms.
No. Lucid’s help center states there is no activation fee to upgrade a LucidPro evaluation to a LucidPro funded account.
Before you can request a payout, your account balance must sit above your starting balance by your initial max loss limit plus $100. That buffer stays in the account as a cushion against the drawdown — only profit above it is withdrawable.
Yes. News trading is allowed on LucidPro with no blackout windows, including NFP, FOMC and CPI. The exception in Lucid’s lineup is funded LucidDaily, where red-folder news is a hard breach.
Neither is better — they move the difficulty to different stages. LucidPro gives you an easy evaluation and a 40% consistency check on funded payouts. LucidFlex gives you a stricter 50% evaluation and then no funded consistency rule at all. Choose based on which stage you’d rather have be the hard one.
