LucidFlex Review 2026: Is Lucid Trading’s Flexible Futures Prop Account Worth It?
Optional Daily Loss Limit · No Funded Consistency Rule · 90/10 Split
🚨
ACTIVE PROMO: CODE “SPICY”
30% OFF ALL LucidFlex, LucidPro, LucidDirect & LucidDaily Account Sizes | Unlimited Uses

LucidFlex is Lucid Trading’s most flexible prop firm account, built for traders who want freedom over rigid rules. At its core, it now lets you choose how you trade: an optional Daily Loss Limit (trade DLL-On for a lower price, or keep No DLL for full flexibility), No Consistency Rule on funded accounts, and No Payout Buffer requirements.

Furthermore, LucidFlex pairs that flexibility with a 90/10 profit split — meaning you keep 90 cents of every dollar you earn. As a result, it has become the go-to choice for serious futures traders who value capital efficiency and want to trade their strategy without artificial constraints.

🔥 The LucidFlex “Big 3” Features
1. Optional Daily Loss Limit
Choose your rules: trade DLL-On for a lower account price, or select No DLL to trade through intraday volatility with only your End-of-Day (EOD) balance evaluated against your drawdown limit.
2. No Consistency Rule
Once funded, you can keep 100% of your big winning days. No artificial profit distribution penalties on funded accounts.
3. No Payout Buffer
Withdraw your earnings immediately without being forced to maintain a multi-thousand dollar balance “buffer.”
⚠️ Important: LucidFlex Freedom Has One Key Limit
The “Big 3” freedoms above apply to your funded account. However, LucidFlex does not support overnight or weekend position holds during the evaluation phase — all trades must be closed by end of session. Once you pass and graduate to LucidLive (after 5 payouts on that account), overnight and swing trading capabilities become available. If you are a swing trader, plan your evaluation strategy accordingly.

Total Payouts Across All My Accounts

A quick clarification, because the numbers confuse people: LucidFlex graduates each account to LucidLive after 5 payouts on that account. I ran several LucidFlex accounts in parallel (you can hold up to 5 funded at once), so my 13 total payouts are the cumulative figure across all of them — not 13 from a single account.

The $24,304 certificate below represents my largest single withdrawal before one of those accounts graduated to Lucid Live. Processing was fast, support was responsive, and there were no games. To be transparent, I earn a commission as an affiliate partner of Lucid Trading — however, I continue to trade here with my own money because the platform genuinely earns that trust.

📋 Evaluation Tiers

The LucidFlex evaluation is a one-time fee. Hit the profit target while staying above your end-of-day Max Loss Limit and within the 50% evaluation consistency rule, and you upgrade to funded. There’s no time limit and no monthly rebilling. Prices below reflect the No-DLL option with code SPICY; selecting DLL-On lowers the price further.

Account Size Profit Target Max Loss (EOD) Price w/ SPICY
$25,000 $1,250 $1,000 $62.30 (30% OFF)
$50,000 $3,000 $2,000 $102.20 (30% OFF)
$100,000 $5,000 $3,500 $205.10 (30% OFF)
$150,000 $7,500 $5,000 $284.90 (30% OFF)
⚠️ What Happens If You Fail the Evaluation?
No problem — resets are available at a fraction of the original cost. You keep the same account size and start the evaluation fresh without losing your spot. Code SPICY applies to resets too, so you’re always getting the discounted rate. Most traders treat the first attempt as a paid practice run with real rules.

💰 LucidFlex Funded Account Structure

Once you pass the evaluation, your LucidFlex account becomes funded and you can begin earning real payouts. Below are the key rules that govern how and when you get paid.

Profit Split
90% to trader / 10% to Lucid Trading on all payouts

Minimum Payout
$500 across all account sizes

Payout Requirements
5 profitable trading days per cycle (min daily profit varies by account size) + positive net profit during the cycle

Processing Time
Instant approval, funds arrive within minutes to 2 business days

No Funded Consistency Rule
The 50% consistency rule applies only during the evaluation. Once funded, it’s removed entirely — your biggest day can be the overwhelming majority of your profit without affecting payout eligibility. You just need to meet the minimum-profitable-days requirement.

End-of-Day Max Loss Limit
The funded account keeps the same EOD calculation. The MLL trails your highest end-of-day balance during early growth, then locks once you clear the initial trail — giving you room to grow without a single bad day breaching you.

Account Limits
You can hold up to 10 evaluation accounts at once, and up to 5 total funded accounts across all Lucid programs combined.

⚠️ Payout requests are final once submitted — they cannot be edited or canceled. If you take a trade after submitting that drops your balance below the required amount, your payout may be denied. Best practice: stop trading once you submit a request.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Lucid supports platforms across two data feeds. On the CQG feed: NinjaTrader, Tradovate, and TradingView. On the Rithmic feed: MotiveWave, Quantower, Tradesea, Sierra Chart, Jigsaw, Bookmap, ATAS, R|Trader Pro, and MultiCharts. You choose your platform and feed during account setup. Note: Project X is not supported.
There is no time limit. You can pass in a single day if you hit the profit target while following all rules. Most traders take anywhere from a few sessions to a few weeks depending on trading frequency and strategy.
Yes. You can hold up to 10 evaluation accounts simultaneously. Once funded, you can maintain up to 5 total funded accounts across all Lucid Trading programs combined.
Five payouts per account. Each LucidFlex account graduates to LucidLive after its 5th payout. If you run several accounts at once, your cumulative total across all of them will be higher — mine was 13 across multiple accounts.
No. The 50% consistency rule applies only during the evaluation phase. Funded LucidFlex accounts have no consistency rule, so a single big winning day won’t disqualify your payout.
No — DLL is now optional on LucidFlex. Trade DLL-On to unlock a lower account price, or choose No DLL for full flexibility with only your end-of-day balance evaluated, at a higher price. Confirm the current pricing for each option at checkout.
You can purchase a reset at a reduced cost and start the evaluation fresh with the same account size. Code SPICY applies to resets as well. There is no penalty or waiting period — you can reset immediately and get back to trading.
LucidFlex does not restrict trading around news events, making it one of the more news-friendly prop firm accounts available. Always confirm the current rules on Lucid’s official site as policies can update, but as of this review there are no news trading restrictions on LucidFlex accounts.
LucidFlex does not support overnight or weekend holds during the evaluation phase. All positions must be closed by end of session. Once you graduate to LucidLive (after 5 payouts on an account), swing trading and overnight capabilities become available.
